- GUNS N' ROSES PLAN NEW
YEAR'S RETURN
-
- AXL ROSE will premiere his
long-under-wraps new edition of GUNS N' ROSES with a New
Year's Eve concert at the 2,000-seat House of Blues in
Las Vegas. "To tell you the truth, when they first called
I thought it was a joke," HOB Senior VP of Entertainment
Kevin Morrow told Rolling Stone, but said that the show
is confirmed and that tickets, which range in price from
$150 to $250, will go on sale Saturday. Promoter Bill
Silva said that Rose wanted to "do something down and
dirty and close to the fans" before GN'R performs at the
Rock in Rio festival on Jan. 14. A release date for the
band's "Chinese Democracy" album has not yet been
announced.
