- GNR Management Blames
Slash For Record Delay:
-
-
- The temperament of Axl Rose is commonly related to
the fact that the band doesn´t release a new album
since 1993 (except for a song in the trail of the film "
End of the days ", of last year). In Doug Goldstein's
version, the fault belongs to former-guitarist Slash.
Axl took so long because he was trying to do the
record with the old band - Goldstein says. - Slash showed
up saying that he had ready the " next album " of the
group, letter and music. It had never been like this
before, everybody composed together. The bass player and
the drummer came to tell me that they were afraid,
because the music seemed to be of 1980. Axl knew that to
continue being relevant needed to bring the sound of Guns
for the new millennium. Slash wants to be AC/DC, every
disk is same. Axl wants to be like Beatles, each disk is
an evolution. When Slash released the first disk of
Snakepit, I had to say to him: " You will ruin your
career ". I was dismissed.
- According to the manager, already 48 new ready songs
exist. That band, the record company and the producers
are selecting the tracks to set up the new disk.
