Apparently Axl has found a replacement for Robin Finck. Axl has been working/recording with Buckethead (known for being crowned by an upside down KFC bucket on his head.)

He is a multi-instrumentalist, known for being a rapid-fire electric guitarist. He has guested on dozens of records (Boosy Collins, John Zorn, etc.,) soundtracks (Last Action Hero and Street Fighter,) games and at least 4 solo albums, the most recent being a 1999 effort called "Monsters And Robots."
